Andrew Selcke
I believe in the power of our collective humanity and diversity of lived experience to create equitable and fair organizational, economic, and political structures. Whether partnering with corporations, foundations, or nonprofits, I envision a civic sector where all actors are not only strong, but unified across a common aim to fortify and maintain a just and civil society.
As a consultant, my work spans across the impact continuum from strategy development to implementation. Equally creative, analytical, and versatile, I support a diverse portfolio of clients across issue areas and giving structures as a communicator, connector, project manager, and process expert. I excel in complicated problem solving and adapt quickly to meet the needs of varied clients and stakeholders, leveraging a generalist approach and a connected network. As such, functional work for clients has encompassed formal grantmaking, evaluation, governance, financial metrics and benchmarking, communications, content creation, and event design.
With a consistent lens towards equity across all integrated aspects of civic sector resourcing and stakeholder engagement, I have worked across a variety of issue areas including mental health parity, arts and culture, reproductive health, environmental justice and restoration, economic and workforce development, drug policy reform, and health equity with a focus on sexual health and HIV.
I proudly hold an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City and a BM in Voice from Northwestern University.
